Skullgirls Review

Skullgirls definitely has a certain charm. All the while playing it, I couldn’t help but compare it to the original Darksiders that was released back in 1994. Similarities are there, but I knew I had to think of it as its own release.  I was surprised to find that Skullgirls is a very good, balanced, and unique 2D fighter that everyone should try and experience.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Review

The Resident Evil franchise has always been a mainstay for Capcom. Each time a new entry into the series was released it was usually met with praise and set the example of a good blend of action and horror. Anyone who has ever told you that video games cannot be considered art, needs to experience one of the beautiful games from Thatgamecompany. Their unique way of designing and creating games serves as a reminder that you don’t need to follow what everyone else is doing to get the most out of creativity. Eddie’s revolutionary guitar playing along with Roth’s over-the-top stage presence made them one of the fore runners of bands at the time.

PixelJunk SideScroller Review

The PixelJunk series have always been one of interest to me. Not wanting to stay focused one specific game type, the developers have created these games to cover different genres’ such as Real Time Strategy, Racing, Shooters and more. Keeping this time with the shooter aspect, Q-Games released the next in the series in Pixel Junk SideScroller on the PlayStation Network. And I’m happy to announce that this retro themed shooter is just as fun as it is flashy.
