Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and a whole slew of new actors are now being featured in the first official trailer for ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ directed by Lana Wachowski. The trailer shows Neo in therapy, apparently him and Trinity apparently not knowing each other among much more.
Hugo Weaving, who played fan-favorite Agent Smith in the original Matrix trilogy, had already stated he was not going to be involved with this fourth film. Oddly, Laurence Fishburne, who played Morpheus in the original films, seems to be missing. But that doesn’t mean that he might not still show up. Or is Yahya Abdul-Mateen II perhaps playing a “rebooted” version of the character? And could that be Sati grown-up reading Alice In Wonderland being played by Priyanka Chopra?
Now, as society is more connected to technology, is probably a great time for the Matrix series to return. And can I say Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit’ really was the best song to pick for the trailer.
